MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

Shoes For Kids

Throughout the year we hand out gift cards to families in need for shoes. It's one of the best ways to directly help kids in need with something that they often can't get through other services.

Smith's Chapel Food pantry

The MCP has several food pantries that are often collecting donations of food. Smith's Chapel's pantry also includes a free store that accepts donations of gently-used, cleaned, and sorted clothing. Click below to learn more about pantry hours and needs.

Appalachian Service Project

Each year we send several teams from different MCP churches to help out with the Appalachian Service Project (ASP). Donate to send those teams here or check out

The Sharing Table

We provide meals for The Sharing Table each month from several of our churches. Usually this involves making a casserole from a predetermined recipe and then bringing it to the coordinating church.

To learn more about how you can be involved, email office.admin@mcparish.org.

New Hope Day Shelter

New Hope Day Shelter has been serving underhoused and underresourced families in the Edgewood area for more than two decades and we have big plans for the future!
